Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Write clean, robust code backed by automated unit tests with full coverage.
• Work independently and collaborate with the rest of the development teams.
• Remain current on technology trends to keep applications as innovative as possible.
• Participate in the production of technical specifications for development and integration requirements.
• Mentor and train project team members on the Solution details for smoother execution.
• Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (STEM Graduates).
• 4+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
• Understanding of database structure, algorithms, and processes.
• Organisational, planning, and documentation skills.
• Incredible problem-solving abilities.
• Well-versed with the version control systems e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Java and J2EE.s.
