What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement comprehensive QE strategies and plans.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Design, develop, and complete test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and recommended guidelines.
• Continuously improve QE processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate with product managers and other team members to ensure alignment on quality goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Monitor and report on QE metrics and performance indicators.
• Drive the adoption of automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
• Grow with the support of your team and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you.

• Work closely with customers to understand their workflows and needs and adapt or pivot quickly based on their feedback.

What we're looking for:

• BTech/MTech in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4 years of hands-on software testing experience
• Exposure to end-to-end test management and able to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate across teams and build consensus
• Knowledge of writing test plans for end to end workflows and test management suites
• Understanding of test methodologies like functional, performance, security testing etc
• Experience with bug reporting in JIRA and familiar with good bug templates
• Good analytical, critical and logical thinking and a problem solver

Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs, contribute with valuable ideas to the service architecture for automation suites Design and implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications

Skills:

Hands on experience with Selinium and Test NG Framework Collaborate with quality and dev engineers to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards Apply customer centric thinking while designing and developing features Experience working with databases Experience working with web services or other server-based APIs Knowledge of unit testing and build processes-Ant, Maven, Hudson or Cruise Control Good written and verbal communication skills Spoken and Written English proficiency.
